I am finding something very clear and beautiful tonight.
I am married. I love my wife. I have all the money I need. I live in a beautiful place. I have good friends. My health is not perfect, but I am only sick off and on. I am not very much persecuted by my government.
I am not sure many people get to have all these nice things at the same time in this life. This is what most people aim for.
It is meaningless without God. I mean God's presence. Without the presence of God all of this is trash. None of it can rival, diminish, or exist without him. He is the only thing that is satisfying.
Spending time with God alone is still the best part of my life. Jesus Christ is better than anyone. I spent a few hours just singing by myself to him tonight and it was so wonderful, nothing compares to it.
